[Submissions_heralds] Scanning format reminder

Greetings!

For those Kingdoms who send me scans of their packets - please check the 
settings on what you are doing. I have started getting a lot of scans in 
formats that are HUGE in terms of file size. Specifically tif format is 
way more than is needed.

The parameters I have set out that are most compatible with what I do 
here are very simple. They are designed to allow for quick scans and 
small file size. These are NOT for archival work, just an attempt to 
capture the form and doc in a readable format.

Scan at 100 dpi, or closest to that with your machines settings and save 
as jpg format ONLY. This provides a common ground, so to speak, for all 
the paperwork, and is much easier to transmit, also, since each 
individual file is much smaller as a result.
